Below are some visualisations compiled from the latest monthly trade data available for South Africa. The data is available on EasyData as part of the International Trade Service in the RSA Trade HST 6-digit data set. The underlying data is sourced from SARS and is updated on EasyData on the first day of every month. Data is available in Monthly, Quarterly and Annual frequency for product and industry classifications (HST, HS, SIC, BEC) in various units including USD and ZAR.

These visualisations show the monthly trade balances (Exports - Imports) for 2020 and 2021. The bars indicate the average monthly trade balances for the period 2010–2019. The selected countries are the top 20 trading partners for the latest month for which data is available.

Ranking is calculated by adding the total South African exports and imports traded with the rest of the world.
