South Africa Foreign Merchandise Trade (Monthly Report) - January 2016

In dollar terms, imports were down 3.7% on a month ago and down 25.5% measured at a 3-months annualised basis. Imports in dollar terms were 13% lower measured on a 12-months basis. Exports were up 5.7% on a month ago but down 32.6% on a 3-months annualised basis. Measured on a 12-months basis, exports in dollar terms were down by 8.3%.
